Joanna Serrano (she/hers)

Artist Bio

Joanna Serrano is a visual artist specializing in digital illustration using programs such as Adobe Fresco and Adobe Photoshop. Her work focuses on storytelling, emotion, and human connection, creating visual narratives that help viewers better understand experiences beyond their own.

Inspired by editorial illustration, storyboarding, and comic books, Joanna approaches her artwork as emotional and conceptual storytelling rather than simple imagery. Her pieces often explore themes such as anxiety, dyslexia, identity, and communication, emphasizing honesty over perfection or traditional ideas of beauty.

In addition to illustration, Joanna creates interactive and mixed-media works, as well as stickers, posters, and other product designs. Through her work, she aims to create emotional connection, reflection, and understanding.
